Zambrero: Feel-Good Mexican Food with a Purpose
Zambrero is a vibrant chain of Mexican-inspired restaurants, known for serving up freshly prepared burritos, bowls, tacos, and quesadillas with a contemporary twist. Founded in Australia by Dr. Sam Prince, the brand has grown into a global movement with over 300 locations worldwide, including 13 across the UK with the nearest branch conveniently located on London Road in Twickenham, just a short walk from the station.
What truly sets Zambrero apart, beyond its bold, flavour-packed menu, is its commitment to making a difference. Through its Plate 4 Plate initiative, every burrito or bowl purchased results in a meal donated to someone in need. To date, Zambrero has donated over 90 million meals globally. The more you visit, the more they donate, that's why they call it 'Feel Good Mex'.
Since opening in 2022, Zambrero has actively sought ways to engage with the local community. In 2024, they launched the Tryline Canteen Takeovers at Allianz Stadium, serving their signature burritos and bowls to internal teams during lunch. The initiative was so well received that it became a regular bi-monthly feature.
Building on this success, Zambrero has become a match-day staple at Allianz Stadium, feeding hungry rugby fans since the 2024 Autumn Nations Series. Their involvement also extended to catering the England Women's Team's Friends and Family Day at the training ground in Bagshot.

Riding the wave of their event catering success, Zambrero has now invested in "The Zamstream", a sleek, 7-metre-long Airstream food truck. This mobile kitchen is already booked for a series of summer events, including regular appearances at Allianz Stadium.
