Michelin-Star Chef Tommy Banks Confirmed for Twickenham Collaboration
Twickenham Stadium and England Rugby Hospitality has announced its partnership with Michelin-starred chef Tommy Banks.
The devoted rugby fan, has designed a new menu bringing the
finest ingredients, including Dexter beef from his farm in
Yorkshire, to the East Wing restaurant in Twickenham Stadium's East
Stand.
Banks, who was Britain's youngest chef to receive a Michelin-star
in 2013 will be running the restaurant for England v South Africa
in the Autumn Nations Series this November and England v Scotland
in the Guinness Six Nations 2023. Guests dining in the East Wing
will enjoy Tommy's exclusively designed four-course menu along with
a post-match Twickenham tea, as well as the opportunity to meet
Tommy personally throughout the day.
"I'm a massive rugby fan, as soon as I got the call I definitely
wanted to come. There's something special about test matches and to
be able to be here on test match days you don't forget them," said
Banks.
The East Wing restaurant is one of four dining spaces in
Twickenham's East Stand, offering superior luxury in the style of a
sophisticated members club. Packages for the East Wing also include
a private entrance with dedicated lifts, dual aspect views over the
pitch and across West London, direct access to your seats within
the East middle tier, Q&As and access to past rugby legends and
a complimentary bar.
"It's like you're in the most amazing fine dining restaurant and
the views are incredible," commented Banks on the East Wing.
