Twickenham enters Stadium Chef Team of the Year
Two of Twickenham Stadium's up and coming chefs, Oscar Hughes and Guled Liban, showcased their culinary talents at the Hotel, Restaurant, and Caterer Show, where they left an impressive mark. Going head-to-head against formidable opponents from renowned football clubs such as Tottenham, Arsenal, Chelsea, Leeds, West Ham, and Newcastle, Oscar and Guled demonstrated unparalleled skill and finesse in the kitchen.
To enter, chef teams had one hour to prepare, cook and present a three-course menu suitable for their Club Chairman to entertain the Head of the FA or RFU to dinner.
Guled, who, despite only having approximately 12 months of experience as a commis chef, has transitioned from kitchen porter to competing on a national stage commented: "It was an amazing experience and has been a good confidence builder. I'm really looking forward to seeing how we faired at the awards night and any future challenges."
As the anticipation builds, all eyes are set on the upcoming Stadium Experience Awards on Thursday 4 July, where the winners of the Stadium Chef Team of the Year award will be announced.
