National Vegetarian Week 2019
Celebrate National Vegetarian Week with our seriously tasty Harrisa Roasted Cauliflower and Chick Pea Pizza. Here's the recipe on how to make it:
(Makes four Pizzas)
Pizza base
200g chick pea flour (gram flour)
190g filtered water
3g fine sea salt
Pizza Topping
100g tomatoes
10g oregano
100g mozzarella cheese
1 head of cauliflower
50g harissa paste
To make the base
Combine all ingredients and leave to rest for 90 minutes
Place a non stick frying pan on a medium heat
Add 100g base batter to the pan, covering the whole pan
Cook for 3 minutes until bubbles appear all over
Flip and cook for a futher 1 minute on the other side
Remove from heat, and allow to rest away from the heat
Topping
Roast tomatoes through the oven at 180oC for 9 minutes
Then in a food processor, 'blitz' them until smooth
Remove the outer leaves and coat the cauliflower in the harissa paste
Roast the cauliflower in the oven for 10 minutes
Whilst still hot, slice the cauliflower into bite size pieces
Tear the mozzarella and pick the leaves from the oregano
To Build
Place the tomato sauce on the top of the chick pea base
Then add the mozzarella and cauliflower
Top with the oregano leaves
Place in oven, preheated at 200oC, then roast for 8 minutes
Slice and serve!
