Twickenham Named No.1 Sporting Venue by BVA BDRC
Twickenham Stadium has continued its reputation for outstanding and award-winning non-match day events by topping the BVA BDRC VenueVerdict Awards for 2019, as the No.1 Sporting Venue.
The awards, which take into consideration feedback by customers, featured over 300 venues, and was based on over 15,000 pieces of individual feedback. This is the first time Twickenham has topped the list and underlines the continued improvement of the business following a year of growth and the launch of its newly opened East Stand.
"We're incredibly proud of the awards we have won over the years, but this one really stands out because of its credibility and the fact that it takes data solely from customers," commented Nils Braude, Managing Director, Twickenham Experience Ltd. "Since the launch of our East Stand we've continued to push the limits in terms of our food, sustainability and quality strategies, and this is great recognition for the whole team here at Twickenham."
