New Year Kick Off Events
A new year kick off event aims to gather the team and set business aims and objectives for the year ahead. It also allows time to reflect on the previous year and look at successes and failures.
Kick off events are a chance to be collaborative and motivate the team and there's no better time to do this than at the start of the new year.
Twickenham is ideally suited to hosting new year kick off events for teams of all sizes, thanks to the close proximity of the stadium's broad range of event spaces. Our facilities provide the flexibility to combine a formal, informative presentation in one area of the stadium, before hosting a dinner or casual drinks reception in another of the stadium's unique facilities.
You can even add in some team-building such as our popular HAKA activity or another of the many options we have on offer with our team-building partner GOTO Events.
Presentations & Drinks Receptions
A perfect example of how to host a new year kick off event would be to start your day with an impactful presentation in Twickenham's Live Room, a purpose-built auditorium in the stadium's South Stand conference centre, housing state-of-the-art audio-visual facilities, as well as large bleacher seating for up to 550 guests theatre-style.
Follow up your presentation with a short walk to the Union Ale House, Twickenham's very own pub located in the stadium's East Stand. The Union Ale House provides the ultimate pub vibe, perfect for hosting informal drinks and snacks with colleagues, allowing time to socialise with members of the team. Why not hire a foosball or pool table to really enhance the pub atmosphere!
Impressive Pitch Views
Another great example of how to host a new year kick off would be to host a presentation in The Lock No. 5, located in Twickenham's modern East Stand. The Lock No. 5 is an open, bright and flexible space, housing a large projector screen, ideal for delivering presentations or panel discussions, as well as providing comfortable theatre seating for up to 300 guests.
Following your conference, a short walk to Twickenham's historic West Stand could see you host a social drinks reception in the Members Lounge. Another large, open and flexible room, providing comfortable reception space for up to 300 guests, as well as stunning views into the 82,000-seater stadium bowl, and across the famous Twickenham pitch.
