World Rugby Announce Sensory Friendly Stadium Tours & Museum Visits
The World Rugby Museum have announced that they will be hosting Rory's Relaxed Opening, an event designed to support neurodiverse people, including families, adults, or people who would benefit from a supportive environment, to enjoy a Twickenham Stadium tour and World Rugby Museum visit without the hustle and bustle of a public tour.
Rory's Relaxed Opening
Rory's Relaxed Opening is an event designed to support neurodiverse people, including families and adults, or people who would benefit from a supportive environment without the hustle and bustle of the public. With additional object handling to support hands-on learning as well as a designated quiet space for those who need to decompress, the museum is catered to support a variety of SEND individuals.
The relaxed day tours will have reduced numbers and, like usual stadium tours, will be led by knowledgeable, understanding tour guides who will show you around the highlights of Twickenham Stadium, such as the England Changing Room and Royal Box. Please note that we often have other events or works happening during our tours, so it is recommended that you bring your own ear-defenders/earphones as the museum only have a small selection available to borrow.
