Allianz Stadium supports ‘Good For Rugby’
Back in 2018, The Rugby Football Union (RFU) launched a brand that underlines the relationship between meetings and match day hospitality at the stadium, and investments in grassroots rugby. The Good for Rugby brand represents the social good that comes from holding events at the stadium, as well as other initiatives that channels investments in the stadium into the sport.

The initiative was supported by the Good For Rugby mark, which directs customers to information and educational resources that showcase where profits generated by the RFU and Allianz Stadium, go. These include upgrading facilities and rugby clubs around the country, providing coaches, developing the next generation of players, rewarding volunteers, building artificial grass pitches, and ultimately supporting the England teams at all levels.
"One of the many reasons to come to Allianz Stadium, be it for match day or non-match day events, is that by doing so you are making a contribution to grassroots rugby," commented Bill Sweeney, RFU Chief Executive Officer. "We're keen to underline this contribution and to bring it to life for our visitors, as well as their own customers."
The Good for Rugby brand also supports businesses and brands at a time where more and more are looking at their corporate and social responsibilities (CSR). The chance to show positive contributions to communities, through their choice of venues, is of increasing interest to event organisers, and grassroots sport, child health, nutrition and wellbeing are all powerful messages.
