Red Roses to take on France at Allianz Stadium in 2027 Guinness Women's Six Nations
The Red Roses' final 2027 Guinness Women's Six Nations match
against France will be played at Allianz Stadium.
John Mitchell's side will face les Bleus at the home of English
rugby in the final round of the competition on Saturday 15th May
2027 (KO 4.45pm).
An average of just over 60 points have been scored in the past
five meetings between the two teams which leans towards another
mouth-watering occasion in next year's competition.
"Games against France are always a competitive battle and that's
what makes it one of the most enjoyable games to play in," captain
Meg Jones said.
"When you add the walk-in from the bus, the roar of the Allianz
Stadium crowd and a sea of cowboy hats, it makes it an even more
incredible occasion. It's one we relish and are looking forward
to."
In Round 3, Franklin's Gardens, Northampton will play host for the
Red Roses' encounter with Italy on Saturday 24th April (kick-off
5pm).
The Italians have provided the opposition at the East Midlands
destination previously with Abby Dow (4), Jess Breach (3), Claudia
MacDonald (2), Marlie Packer (2) and Tatyana Heard all on the
scoresheet in a 68-5 win in 2023.
The Red Roses will return to the North East to play Scotland at Sunderland AFC's Stadium of Light on Saturday 17 April (kick-off 4.45pm), in what will be England Women's first home match away from a non-rugby stadium outside of a Rugby World Cup.
