Myles Smith Captains Entertainment Line-Up For Nations Championship Finals Weekend At Allianz Stadium

BRIT Award-winning singer-songwriter Myles Smith is set to bring his tour to a blockbuster finale at Allianz Stadium, London, on Friday 27 November, headlining a packed weekend of live music and elite international rugby as the Nations Championship Finals Weekend takes over the capital.

Fresh from a tour spanning England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales, the chart-topping British artist will bring his global hits, including Stargazing and Nice To Meet You, to one of the world's most iconic sporting stages for an exclusive 20-minute live set between two back-to-back international rugby fixtures.

Smith's UK and Ireland tour includes a sold-out show at London's O2 Arena and just one week later he will headline a team of acts taking to the pitch at Allianz Stadium where the world's biggest rugby stars will also battle it out over three days.

The Nations Championship guarantees elite sport and entertainment thanks to the twelve best teams and players in international rugby. Myles Smith elevates the experience for fans and will headline the broader music and entertainment offering across the Finals Weekend.

For Smith, a rugby fan whose music has connected with audiences across the globe, the performance offers a unique opportunity to bring those worlds together in front of the tens of thousands of fans set to pack out the stadium.

Myles Smith said: "It's been such an incredible experience getting out on the road and playing to fans across England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales, so to bring everything to a close with a massive show at Allianz Stadium feels pretty special.

"What's even better is that so many of the countries I've been playing in will be coming together in London for the Nations Championship Finals Weekend. Hopefully I'll see a few familiar faces from the tour in the crowd!

"I'm a big rugby fan, so getting the chance to share the same pitch as the best rugby players in the world is something I'm genuinely buzzing about. London is one of the sporting capitals of the world so to be part of the Finals Weekend is going to be unforgettable. I can't wait to get out there and make it a proper celebration."

Julie Paterson, Chief of Rugby at Six Nations Rugby, added: "The Nations Championship Finals Weekend is a totally new concept for international rugby, adding something truly unique to the calendar. The news that Myles Smith will captain a line-up of artists across the three days will enhance the experience fans can look forward to, by offering the best of sport and entertainment on one of the most iconic stages in the world."

James Massing from Live Nation commented: "Some of the most exciting live experiences happen when music and sport meet, and we are proud to help create moments that matter for fans. Bringing world-class artists to the Finals Weekend ensures we can offer something extra to remember, and Myles is a brilliant artist to kick off what promises to be an incredible weekend at Allianz Stadium in London."

Taking place from Friday 27 to Sunday 29 November, the inaugural Nations Championship Finals Weekend will crown a winning team, who will cement their status as the dominant force in international rugby. Adding a uniquely competitive element to the tournament will be the battle to claim the Nations Championship Hemisphere Shield; which will be won by either the Southern or Northern Hemisphere group of teams.
