Ugo Monye joins England Rugby Hospitality as Brand Ambassador
England Rugby Hospitality are delighted to welcome Ugo Monye to the team as the brand's first ambassador.
Since retiring in 2015, Ugo Monye has gone on to become one of the most respected voices in world rugby. The one-club-man began his career at Harlequins in 2002, going on to make 241 appearances for the club, scoring 89 tries and winning a Premiership Title in the process.
Ugo made his England debut in 2008, and after featuring heavily in England's 2009 Six Nations squad, he was awarded a place on the 2009 British and Irish Lions Tour of South Africa, on which he scored a crucial length of the field try in the final Test, which has gone on to become an iconic image in Lions history.
A role model on and off the pitch, and already a pundit of great repute, Ugo will provide England Rugby Hospitality fans with insight, hints and tips on what's happening in the world of international rugby over the next 12 months, alongside appearances on match days.
"Having been retired for six years now, I have attended England Rugby Hospitality's events on a number of occasions, and always found the experience to be truly best-in-class" comments Ugo Monye. "I'm really happy to be officially joining the team and hopefully adding even more to their clients' experience with England Rugby Hospitality."
